  1. These are all great ideas, and so valuable to helping those kiddos learn number sense! I know plenty of second grade teachers who are grateful when the little ones do these activities!

  3. We start math every year with the 100 pocket chart. I put in one number, then hand out 1 number to each kiddo. We fill in the chart over the course of the week with each kiddo explaining how they knew where their number went. It is a great way to get the kiddos talking about the chart and a quick way to assess who can figure out where it goes and their thinking behind it! Thanks for sharing, I am always looking for more ways to use the 100 chart in my room!
